Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2011 Private Bin Marlborough Pinot Noir has pronounced black cherry, cranberry and underbrush notes with hints of moss and black raspberries. Medium bodied, it offers a good amount of cherry and earthy flavors in the mouth with a low to medium level chewy tannins, balanced acid and a medium to long slightly astringent finish. Drinking now, it should keep to 2015.
