The Pfalz is warm enough to ripen many grape varieties, and one that is growing in popularity is Pinot Gris. This version is round in the mouth, but not terribly assertively flavored, offering up only hints of tangerine and apple before ending with a blast of citrus.——J.C.(11/15/2007)—— 84
