Predominantly from volcanic soils, the 2021 Riesling Trocken is super clear, fresh and flinty on the precise and reductive nose that shows ripe but focused fruit with white peach and apricot aromas. Light and highly stimulating on the palate, this is a salty, crisp and grippy Riesling with juicy fruit and the mineral expression of the Nahe. 11.5% stated alcohol. Diam cork. Tasted in July 2022.

Predominantly from the Oberhausen Kieselberg and Felsenberg, the 2020 Riesling Trocken opens with a clear, ripe, elegant and flinty bouquet of ripe Riesling fruit. Pure, linear and fresh on the palate, this is an intense and vital dry Riesling with stunning mineral expression, grip and salty length. A fabulous wine for small pockets. 11.5% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in July 2021.

The 2019 Riesling Trocken is clear, bright and remarkably finessed in its fruit aromas and lovely stony notes. Medium-bodied this is a very elegant, refined and linear dry Riesling with stimulatingly piquant acidity and mineral purity. A gorgeous wine and a picture-book Riesling from the 2019 vintage. Stimulating lemon zest and juice flavors on the salty aftertaste. Highly recommended. Tasted as a sample in Bremen, April 2020.
