The 2022 Single Vineyard Seddon Pinot Gris leads with nashi pears and white pepper. Pillowy and soft in the mouth, it’s a nice wine—fleshy but structural. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap.

From a vineyard just south of the Awatere River, VM's 2019 Single Vineyard Seddon Pinot Gris was mostly barrel fermented to add richness and texture. It's a ripe, peachy style, with hints of mango even but also more classic notes of apple and pear. Medium to full-bodied, it's broad and silky on the palate, with those same textural elements lingering on the finish.

Spiced pear and quince notes on the nose give the 2017 Single Vineyard Seddon Vineyard Pinot Gris an exotic, promising start. It's medium to full-bodied, with a plump, juicy mouthfeel, hints of cinnamon and just a touch of tannin on the long, silky-textured finish. It should drink well for a few years.
