Another sleeper of the vintage, this equal-part blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from proprietor Jean-Paul Roland has oodles of spicy, sweet cherries intermixed with underbrush, loamy soil notes and forest floor. It is medium-bodied, elegant, with low acidity and ripe tannin. Drink it over the next 3-5 years.
