Domaine Coursodon

This domaine is one of the benchmark win?eries in the Saint-Joseph appellation. This is a family enterprise, run today by Pierre Coursodon's son Jerorne, whose drive and enthusiasm have taken the wines toward purer fruit and more freshness (for the white wines) and mainly sleeker, silkier tan?nins (for the reds). All of the wines age as gracefully as ever but are now more supple and approachable when younq=-deflnitely a sea change for this producer! Jerorne even rethought the somewhat tired-looking labels: since 2006, the former cuvee domaine has been known as the Silice.
