Naturally fermented in French oak, 10% new, and aged on lees for 11 months, the 2009 Boundary Farm Sauvignon Blanc gives notes of toast and roasted almonds over a core of white peaches, warm apple slices and fresh pears. Medium-full bodied with a good backbone of crisp acid, it offers mouth-filling cedar and peach flavors with a long finish that goes a little tropical. Drinking now, it should keep through 2013.
