Odjfell Vineyards’ 2008 Organic Orzada Carignan spent 12 months in a mix of new and used French oak. The wine was sourced from puny yields of just over 1 ton/acre from a steeply sloped vineyard. Fragrant aromas of wood smoke, earthy minerals, spice box, a hint of balsamic, and black plum inform the nose of a structured, powerful wine with a rustic personality.
