The oak-fermented 2020 Alto Adige Terlano Pinot Bianco Eichhorn (an organic and biodynamic wine) does a great job of presenting a variety that is perfectly suited to geography. Pinot Bianco and Alto Adige are beautifully matched, and this wine offers great clarity with apple, quince, soft peach, sage and blanched almond. The wine is smooth on the palate, and it ends with salty mineral sensations. Some 15,900 bottles were released.

Here is a gorgeous wine that excels in terms of intensity and overall balance. Made with organic fruit, the Manincor 2019 Alto Adige Terlano Pinot Bianco Eichhorn has it all. It boasts rich textural support to flavors of stone fruit and poached pear, while showing impressive dimension and length. The wine's best feature is its reasonable price for what it represents. This release of 14,200 bottles will easily hold to the 10-year mark.

Pinot Bianco is one of the grapes most closely identified with the dynamic Alto Adige wine scene. The oak fermented Manincor 2018 Alto Adige Terlano Pinot Bianco Eichhorn offers mid-weight appeal, with peach and Golden Delicious apple that wrap smoothly over the palate. Keeping in line with the characteristics of the grape, the bouquet is rather neutral but it does reveal delicate and specific nuances of crushed stone, pine nut and a touch of wild sage or mountain herb. It's a nice selection for a white veal sausage, or any weisswurst. Some 15,000 bottles were made.

Showing a slightly heavier gait compared to the more brilliant and buoyant 2016 edition, the 2017 Alto Adige Terlano Pinot Bianco Eichhorn reflects the heat and the richness of the vintage. The Pinot Bianco grape always plays its best cards in the mouth, offering ample volume and subtle creaminess even when the most straightforward winemaking techniques are implemented. This more sophisticated oak-fermented approach (especially in this dry and hot vintage) tends to push that creaminess and natural concentration even further. This is a mid-weight wine to pair with roast chicken or tuna seared with sesame seeds. Some 15,000 bottles were made.

The bouquet invites you along a sensorial journey that takes you from apple and pear to sweet almond, wild sage, saffron and crushed oystershell. Fermented in large oak vessels, this medium-weight wine is smooth and silky in terms of finish. Some 14,000 bottles were made.
